Expo

Pulsar works with both bare React Native and Expo. The native CodePush module has to be present in the build, so managed Expo projects need a config that includes it — which means running expo prebuild (or using a dev-client build) rather than the fully managed OTA path.

Prebuild / dev-client

Add the SDK, then expo prebuild to generate the native ios/ and android/ projects that carry the module.

Once prebuilt, set the deployment key and server URL exactly as in Installation — CodePushServerURL in Info.plist on iOS, CodePushServerUrl in strings.xml on Android — pointing at https://api.usepulsar.dev.
