Documentation
Everything to ship over-the-air updates with Pulsar — from install to multi-deployment testing.
Release from the CLI
Install the CLI, log in once, then push a bundle from your app repo.
npm i -g @novacraft-engineering/pulsar-cli
pulsar login https://api.usepulsar.dev
pulsar release MyApp Staging --platform ios --target 1.0.0--target <binary version> (required) · --platform ios|android · --rollout 25 (percent) · --mandatory · --disabled (ship it dormant, enable later) · --devices id1,id2 (granular device reach) · --description "silent | fix crash".
Every new release retires the previous one automatically (latest-only), so a device that already applied an update is never re-prompted.
To sign releases with your own key, add --private-key pulsar-private.pem. See Code signing, and Private bundles for encrypted releases.
From CLI 1.6, each release is compiled to Hermes bytecode and carries a JavaScript copy for builds that can’t run that bytecode. --no-hermes releases JavaScript only, and --hermes compiles even when your project turns Hermes off. See Hermes bytecode.
