Documentation

Everything to ship over-the-air updates with Pulsar — from install to multi-deployment testing.

Single sign-on and provisioning

Organization owners set this up in Settings → the organization → Single sign-on. Pulsar supports SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect, so it works with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace and OneLogin.

  1. Pick SAML or OpenID Connect and copy Pulsar’s URLs into a new app in your identity provider.
  2. Paste the provider’s details back (SAML: sign-on URL, entity ID and signing certificate; OIDC: issuer, client ID and secret).
  3. Add your email domains and prove you own each one with the TXT record shown.
  4. Optionally require SSO, which turns off passwords, Google and GitHub sign-in for those domains.

People sign in with Continue with SSO on the login page and join the organization with the role you choose. For SCIM provisioning, create a token in the same panel and give your provider the SCIM base URL; removing someone there removes them from the organization and signs them out.
