Documentation

Everything to ship over-the-air updates with Pulsar — from install to multi-deployment testing.

Update modes

Control how an update is delivered with tokens in the release --description, before a | separator (everything after the pipe is the user-facing note).

Install timing

immediate — download and reload the JS right away.
next-restart (default) — apply on the next natural app launch.
next-resume / next-suspend — apply when the app backgrounds/foregrounds.

Behaviour

silent — download in the background, no dialog.
mandatory (or the --mandatory flag) — the user cannot dismiss the update.
no-pill — suppress the download progress pill.
